What is Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy?
Redefining Health’s Definition:
Physical Therapy is a highly skilled intervention that pays great attention to detail regarding your entire muscle and bone structure and how they work together. A physical therapist is trained in keen observation to the point that more often than not, from the moment you walk in the door they are already assessing your structure to determine what may be the cause of your complaint you have come to see them for.
Physical therapists are also trained to determine if there may be an underlying systemic cause to your complaint and to recommend an appropriate referral for a physician if needed. After appropriate assessment through a series of questions and testing your physical therapist will work with you and your goals to determine the best course of action to address the impairments that are hindering your advancement to proper musculoskeletal function.
At Redefining Health you can expect to see a physical therapist one on one for your entire treatment session. We look forward to working with you in restoring your function and reclaiming your health!
